Where are the homes located?

Both properties are located in the Ellsworth, Maine area, the perfect central location for exploring the Downeast region. They’re approximately 25–40 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, depending on the home. You'll also be close to local lakes, antique shops, lobster pounds, and hiking trails.

How far are the homes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor?

1899 Acadia Farmhouse: About 30 minutes

Acadia Base Camp: About 40 minutes

Both homes are within an easy drive and make for excellent day-trip bases while avoiding the tourist crowds in Bar Harbor.

Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM

Are pets allowed?

Yes! Both properties are pet-friendly. We just ask that you clean up after your pets and treat the property respectfully.

Do the homes have heating and air conditioning?

Yes! Each property is equipped with heating and cooling systems to ensure you're comfortable no matter the season.

Is there a hot tub?

The 1899 Acadia Farmhouse features a private hot tub available year-round. We ask that guests add a scoop of chlorine after each use and keep the cover secured when not in use.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy depends on where you book (Airbnb, VRBO, direct). Generally, the earlier you book and cancel the more likely we will be able to offer you some sort of refund. Please review the cancellation policy listed at the time of booking.

Are the homes good for large groups or families?

Yes! Both homes are designed to comfortably host larger groups:

1899 Acadia Farmhouse sleeps up to 13 guests

Acadia Base Camp sleeps up to 14 guests with 10 king beds

We welcome multi-family vacations, retreats, and reunions — as long as all guests are respectful of the homes and neighborhood guidelines.

Can we host events or parties?

We do not allow events, parties, or large gatherings beyond the registered guests. These are residential neighborhoods, and quiet hours are strictly enforced (9PM–8AM). We want to ensure a peaceful experience for our guests and our neighbors.

What’s provided and what should we bring?

We provide:

Fresh linens, towels, and bedding

Shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and paper towels

Cleaning supplies, washer/dryer, and more

You just need to bring your own groceries, personal items, and a sense of adventure!

Is early check-in or late check-out available?

We try to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs when possible, especially in off-season. Please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best depending on our cleaning schedule.
